Children, the precious or irreplaceable gift of nature given to the parents, but those parents are the luckiest one having a responsible, well maintained, well mannered, self-motivated, distinguishable children between right and wrong because the above-mentioned skills are the basic social skills in a life of children. A child has a very clear heart, a child has no greed in his heart, because of these reasons a child could easily rely on anyone whether the person is correct or not that’s why there is a need to enhance the social skills of children.
Some important social skills in children
1. Children should learn good manners – good manners are nothing but a polite or well-bred social behaviour. Good manners are necessary for a child because they told a child to respect elders and love younger. If they will obey elders than only they will learn some other skills.
- They should maintain eye contact- Maintenance of eye contact helps children to build confidence among them. This is helpful to a child because if a child maintains eye contact he could easily talk to others.
- They should be patient- the child should have patience if a child is patient than he could easily compete with his anger and he should maintain good manners always. Patience is the ability to keep calm so if a child is always kept patient or calm, it will help him to control his anxiety, anger, overconfidence and many more.
- They should learn to share things- A child should share his things so that a child become donating and learn the benefits of sharing that is sharing increase love, respect to each other and also cope up the differences between them.
5. Listening to each other- A child should listen to other only speaking our chats is not necessary but the main skill of a mannered child is he should listen to other’s voice with calm, interest and be willing to believe on his voice
- They should not blindly believe among others.

Some ways to enhance social skills in children.
1. Ask questions – parents should ask questions to them and enhance their children to give reliable answers. Children should be answered every question to their parents.
2. Share everything- parents should enhance their children to share everything to their children so that they built a habit to share everything with their parents that is if any strange thing happened with them they would share with their parents.
3. Teach sympathy- parents should teach sympathy to their children because sympathy is the element which helps to understand other people.
4. Know your child’s limit- parents should know the confidence, anger, motivation limits of their children. It should help to maintain their good manners and their patience
5. Be a good role model-parents should become the best role model for their children. A child is like a mirror he will do what he will see. So never told to do that thing which you never did.
6. Enhance their knowledge-by practising role-plays, by explaining them motivational stories, by drawing posters related to general life examples, problems and their solutions.
7.Motivate your child
- Stay away from your child from bad things and languages
9. Don’t scold your child every time and be aware that he will not go into the shell of anxiety
- Teach your child to maintain proper hygiene during eating, sanitation, playing and drawing too

- They believe in themselves
- They would not blindly rely on anyone
- They can talk to others with full confidence
- Their behaviour is good and expressible
- They obey their parents and elders
