In the world where speed these days is considered to be everything, Asus has decided that no matter what our new  Asus Rog Phone 3 would be even lightning fast than Flash from DC Comics.

Asus who have already pleased their users with marvellous laptops and ROG Phones are expected to take a step ahead and give them more moments to enjoy with their brand new Asus ROG Phone 3 launch in India.

Asus ROG Phone 3 smartphone runs on Android v10 (Q) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa-core (3.1 GHz, Single core, Kryo 585 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 585 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 585) processor. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus Chipset.

The Asus ROG 3 will come equipped with a huge 5,800 mAh battery, which will power the phone’s large 6.59-inch screen. We expect it to be an OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, but there’s no confirmation of that here. A full HD+ resolution of the display is confirmed, though.

• Design:

The phone has dimensions of 171mm x 78mm x 9.85mm with a weight of about 240 grams. The colour variant till now available is only Black.

• Display:

The screen size is 6.59 inches(16.74cm) which will enhance the gaming experience of the user with 1080 X 23 40 Pixels. The aspect ratio is 19.5:9 with a bezel-less display.

The display type is OLED which means a better video or gaming experience with a refresh rate of 144HZ. The phone will have the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass  v6. The screen body ratio is 79.75%.

• Hardware:

The CPU consist of Octa-core (1×3.09 GHz Kryo 585 + 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 585 + 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 585). The GPU is Adreno 650. The variants compromise of 12GB, 16 GB RAM with 256GB, 512GB , 1TB of Storage Capacity. While the phone misses out on a dedicated Memory Card Slot.

The sensors are however common like fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.

• Software:

Asus ROG Phone 3 will run on Android 10 with ROG UI.

• Camera:

The rear camera setup consists of a dual-camera setup. The primary camera is highly capable of capturing mesmerizing shots with 64 MP power and the aperture is  f/1.8(wide). Also, ultra-wide shots can be captured with 13 MP secondary camera.

Videos of 4K, 1080p and 720p can be captured at following fps:

4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, 720p@480fps; gyro-EIS (except @240/480fps).

The phone has a 13 MP selfie camera with aperture f/2.4. The front camera can also record videos at 1080p@30fps.

• Network & Connectivity:

Asus ROG Phone 3 comes with Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The phone has data configurations like GSM/HSPA/LTE/5G options.

WLAN-Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ad/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot.

Bluetooth-5.1, A2DP, LE, aptX HD.

GPS-Yes, with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS.

USB-3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector; accessory connector.

• Battery:

The phone has quick charge 4.0 option with a 30W Charging Speed. The phone also supports reverse charging up to 10W.

With all the features supporting gaming, this phone would be loved by all the people who love high-end gaming. Asus ROG Phone 3 is expected to be launched on 22nd July in India. The expected price is INR 72,990.
