Xiaomi has launched another smartphone in India at the price range of below 15,000/-. Poco M2 has an identical design to Redmi 9 Prime.

  7. Android v10 (Q) with MIUI.

  • Display:

Xiaomi POCO M2 has a screen size of 6.53 inches. With a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display is similar to Redmi’s 9 Prime which also has a waterdrop notch display. The display has an IPS LCD with 395 PPI. The screen is also provided with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass v3. The screen to body ratio is 83.06%.

The phone also has splash-proof and rust resistant body. The phone will be available in three colour variants- Black, Blue and Red.

  • Hardware & Storage:

POCO M2 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80. The processor will be Octa-core (2 GHz, Dual-core, Cortex A75 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A55) with an Architecture of 64-bit. The processor is a very decent processor in this price range The phone will be fueled up with high graphics by Mali G-52.

The phone is available with two variant for thew users. The users can go for 6 GB RAM & 64 variant or 6 GB RAM &128GB storage by paying slightly high.

POCO M2 also has a dedicated slot for memory card by which the memory can be expanded up to 256 GB.

  • Camera:

The most fascinating thing for POCO M2 at this price range is its the camera. The rear camera will be a quad-camera setup comprising of 13 MP Primary Camera 8 MP Wide Angle & Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, 5 MP Camera and 2 MP Depth Camera. The phone will have various shooting modes like Continuos Shooting, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR).

The rear camera encompasses features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.

However, the selfie camera is slightly on the lower side as it’s resolution is limited to 8 MP. The front camera also has F2.0 aperture.

  • Battery:

POCO M2 has a good better life similar to other Xiaomi phones. The battery capacity will be 5000 mAh which will be non-removable. The good part about the phone is it will support USB type-C and Fast Charging. The phone comes with an 18W quick-charge technology.

POCO M2 is provided  Dual Nano-SIM slots; either card can be set as the primary card. Both the cards will support 4G+/4G/3G/2G.

POCO M2 will mark its first sale on September 15 at sharp 12 noon. The phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart at two price ranges 6+64GB variant will be sold at 10,999/-  & 6+128GB will be sold at 12,999/-
