Astronomers detect enormous superflare,2020 star

Astronomers detect enormous superflare on a red dwarf planet, which is the breaking news for today! Read along to know more about it, in brief, since nobody has much time nowadays:)

Superflares- An Introduction

Superflares are generally spotted on a star. The energy emitted by them is usually tens and thousands of times more than typical solar flares.

In this very state, the stars can satisfy conditions that will make them analogues of the solar system and would be expected to be stable for a longer time.

Such kind of detailed studies cannot be done so easily. I would have considered this statement a possibility before the invention of the Kepler satellite. Because of this satellite, there is a possibility of a detailed study, and even the confirmation regarding the presence of Superflare can also be made.

The Kepler satellite consists of the capability of monitoring a large number of solar-type stars with very high accuracy for an extended period. Such observations reveal that a small proportion of stars had violent outbursts, up to 10,000 times as powerful as the strongest flares known on the Sun.

The kind of brightness present in all of the superflares is of the kind displaying quasi-periodic brightness variations which interpret it being very large starspots carried round by rotation.

Another kind of study that can be employed is of the spectroscopic kind. These studies have revealed the presence of spectral lines which are a clear indication of chromospheric activity which is associated with strong and extensive magnetic fields.

This study can also suggest that superflares only differ in scale from solar flares.

From the historical observations of Auroras and from the radioactive isotopes that can be produced from solar energy particles, three events and few candidates have been found in the carbon-14 records in tree rings.

But still, it is not possible to declare them as superflares due to certain limitations and the extent of studies that pertain to a superflare was not accomplished by those three candidates.

If you guys are thinking that they may not be such a danger, then let me stop you there. Solar superflares would have drastic effects, especially if they occurred as multiple events.

Since they can occur on stars of the same age, mass, and composition as the Sun this cannot be ruled out, but no indication of solar superflares has been found for the past ten millennia. But when it will occur, I can guarantee that, it won’t be sweet!

Superflare Star

Such kind of term is limited tho the explanation that a large than a silent event which occurs on a star, and completes a few conditions, which includes, the star being a part of a spectral class of F8 to G8 and the star being on or near the main sequence.

The star should be single or a part of a wide binary. It should not be a rapid rotator and should not be exceedingly young.

Now let’s get back to the original content-

Astronomers detect enormous..(you know the rest!)

The scientists of the famous Kyoto University have discovered something cool!

The astronomers detected enormous 12 stellar flare phenomena on AD Leonis, which is a dwarf red star. This star is 16 light-years away.

One of the shocking discovery reveals that one of the flares was around 20 times larger than those which are found on the sun.

The astronomers at Kyoto university observed this beautiful yet dangerous phenomenon using a 3.8 meter Seimei telescope, which is located on a hilltop to the west of Kyoto.

Kosuke Namekata says that an extremely large superflare can occur but on extreme occasions, which may result in massive magnetic storms, which when emitted from our sun can significantly affect the earth’s technological infrastructure. (Phew!!)

Now if we talk about Forbes no comparable flare has ever been seen before and that discovery offers a rare chance to gather data. This is the chance my friends, put the medal on the pedal, accelerator dabao, and make history! (Long live 3 idiots!!).

Such flares were new for the scientists at the university. Typically, the flares would display a continuum of the light spectrum. But these flares displayed the light coming from specific atoms.

 In my opinion…

In my opinion, the fact that Astronomers detect enormous superflares and the COVID pandemic going on is no joke to anyone.

It seems to me that Nature is just beginning the death dance and slowly and gradually we all are moving towards the doomsday. It is written in the holy scriptures that a day will come when we will be a part of this oblivion identity of mother nature. To be very honest, I am not waiting for this day to arrive and seriously don’t want this day to come.

Our Earth is the most suitable planet to live on. Scientists are as of now just speculating the fact that life on other planets is possible, but there is no concrete evidence that this statement is true, otherwise, we would have been living on other planets only and would have been staring at our mother earth from a distance.

Honestly, guys, I am not in favour of living on other planets, as we will; be leaving a majority of the human race behind as not everyone will be able to afford it. People like me would just have to stay on this planet only, may be out of pride but mostly due to lack of money.

So I guess we must protect our planet earth and let’s not await doomsday, although it might come. But what if God changes his mind? What if we behaved like good people, we might get an extension from our doomsday.

Well, I don’t know about that, maybe God will change his mind or no. All I know is that we can live as civilians who respect humanity and not indulge in petty crimes and not be the reason behind somebody’s failure or maybe death!

So that’s it, guys!

I would appreciate if you could just ponder over the facts and get along with it.
