BSNL has introduced a new prepaid plan of₹2399 and made changes to the existing ones. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has launched a new prepaid plan for users in India. The new ₹2399 prepaid plan is a long-term one that provides users with several benefits for a long long time. The plan has 600 days of validity and several benefits.
Benefits of the plan
- Unlimited voice calling to any network
- Having a policy called FUP (fair usage policy) Of 250 minutes
- Free 100 SMSs per day
- 600 days of validity
- Users can get access customised ring back tones but for the first 60 days only
BSNL revised plans including in this long term prepaid plan
Telecom operators revise the plan of ₹ 74 and ₹ 75 prepaid packs. Both plans now come with the validity of 60 days, coming down from 90 days. These plans provide or offer 2 GB of data han and hundred minutes of voice calling.
In addition to this, BSNL has discontinued the ₹ 149 and ₹ 725 prepaid plans in Tamilnadu and Chennai circles. The ₹96 prepaid plan has also been ended

Drawbacks of this long term well-prepaid plan
- This plan doesn’t include any 4G data benefits
- 4G users have to get a separate recharge conducted for 4G
- The plan will be available in Tamil Nadu and Chennai circles along with some more circles only
- The plan is not available in Andaman and Nicobar and Jammu Kashmir circles
