Rich dad Poor dad book by Robert Kiyosaki consists of ten chapters.
The book is written actually by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter in the year 1997.
It focuses mainly on the theme of financial education, financial independence and financial intelligence to improve one’s business and financial aptitude.

In the introducing part of the book, an unknown lady narrator asks herself the question of whether the school in which her children are studying, making them perfect for their future practical life?
Again she thought and talks that my husband and I both are doing a good job, we are successful, but what’s the use of that?
When one day her son asked her why am I learning the subject was none of any use in the practical world? And she replied to get a job with a proper salary with she also get as an answer when she was a student.
The narrator further relates the readers and tells that everything around the world is changing except this genetic advice, and hence my son told me to change with the time and the world.
The lady further excepts with the fact that the schools are not dealing with the topic of Finance to the students and hence they wouldn’t know ever how to expend on money which is really very necessary.
The lady gives the example of her own son who got down with the credit card and she herself makes him get over of it.
After then, her husband makes him meet Robert Kiyosaki. While the meeting was on, Robert Kiyosaki tells them about a game which is related to the real-life about how a poor or normal middle-class life goes on, but no one wants to explore it out.
By playing this game one never understand about the money and its uses, and hence nothing is to discuss with our children too.
After being influenced by his words, the unnamed lady narrator and her husband invite Kiyosaki to dinner.
From here begins the story of rich dad Poor Dad in which the narrator is Kiyosaki himself, and he mainly focuses on the gap between the rich and the poor.
But why is this gap existing, and what is the fact behind this thinking?
Isn’t it the education system prevailing over a year and more in which subjects never deals with the practical world?
He further tells that the biggest curse to the children in the running world is to study and get a proper job.
No doubt education is necessary, but it is as important as the practical world.

At the beginning of the chapter Kiyosaki introduces his two dads. Out of which, to one he calls as the rich dad, who is not his biological father but his friend Mike’s father.And the other as a poor dad, who is his biological father.
Kiyosaki tells one by one about his both the dads. Firstly, he detailed about his poor dad, who was a very learned man and went through various universities while the other one, his rich dad had studied only upto the standard 8.
He further tells about his dads that both earned very good but their financial condition changes at the time of their death, where rich dad leaves behind him perfect money unlike to it, poor dad left only debts.
Both fathers advised him. Both of them advised Kiyosaki to study and make money, but the perception of the two dads on both the topic is quite different to each other, and the problem is that he can’t go through the single advice.
Where the rich dad used to tell that money is the root cause of every problem unlikely poor dad utters lack of good finance leads to the various problems.
Though Kiyosaki was young enough to understand these perceptions, yet he effortfully utters that it is the only right time for it.
Kiyosaki being quite happy, tells that he was fortunate that he understood the difference between how to make money work for you instead of working for money at an early age.
He explains this with an example that whenever he asks for something from his poor dad, he utters there is no money to purchase while when asked by rich dad, though it is not necessary to purchase yet he thought how to work to reach the object.
He later tells that his poor dad used to state that rich should pay more tax while the rich dad doesn’t like the concept of tax as hard work of one is being transferred to others through taxation, a process to make the capable people paralytic.
Where poor dad uses to say study and get a good and settled job while rich dad used to say that study but not to do a job but to offer a job.
Where poor dad always excuses that I have nothing left behind because I look towards home, rich dad allure I have everything because I don’t always look only towards home.
Where poor dad states that he will depend on the government after retirement, rich dad focuses on earning more during young and middle age and not to depend on others.
The sentence uttered by the rich dad that, I never work for money, money works for me, changed the mindset of the Kiyosaki, and he decided to go through the advice of his rich dad.
One day Kiyosaki while studying in school saw a rich boy who came along with his car and took all his friends with him except Kiyosaki and his friend Mike, because they were poor.
After returning from school, Kiyosaki went to his Poor Dad and asked, How should I make money to be rich? His fathers smiled and told him to work by using his mind.
Kiyosaki spoke everything before his friend Mike, and they decided to open a business of toothpaste and hence started collecting the toothpaste tubes.
One day, when Kiyosaki’s saw that she asks both the children to throw the garbage within a week.
After some days, Kiyosaki’s poor dad, while going out with his friends, saw the children’s business programme and started laughing and told them it is an illegal task.
And the poor dad spoke before the children, the fantasy lines that you both tried is a great work, which Kiyosaki tells is good only to listen.
Kiyosaki’s poor dad came and asked the children that if you really want to make money, then you must visit Mike’s father, as our banker is same yet he talks about Mike’s father that he is going to do something very great.
With the experiencing plot, Mike takes appointment from his father and both Kiyosaki and Mike visits him on Saturday morning where Mike’s father or the rich dad offers them a job to clean the caskets for which they would be paid 30 cents.
After working for 4 weeks, Kiyosaki got angry; meanwhile, his Poor Dad also tells him to ask for the growth of salary and Kiyosaki angrily asked his friend that is going to leave the job and Mike asks him to his father. Mike’s dad or the rich Dad makes Kiyosaki understands and offers him more and more cents, but he still refuses and ready to work for free as he was to be told make money for your use.
One day, the rich father took the boys to the park and offered more money for their work, where, wholeheartedly Kiyosaki wants to take, but his mind stops him. Here rich father Smiles and brings the concept of fear and greed, where fear makes money to come, and greed for the luxuries let the money go.
He also asks Kiyosaki that to solve the local problem, never take small jobs as solutions instead grab a big chance. Kiyosaki got influenced by the words of his rich dad.
After working for two more weeks, one day the boys found Mrs.Maurtine putting the comics in the boxes. They took the boxes full of comics and started a library in the basement area of Mike’s home, where Mike’s sister works as a librarian.
With this library, within three weeks, the boy earned ten dollars each. But soon the library shut down yet it makes Kiyosaki learned that to fulfil the need, he started a business and knew the process of starting a business and secondly he uses the liabilities(read comics) as assets.
Besides this, Kiyosaki also learns how to make money work for him as by giving only one dollar to Mike’s sister; he earned ten dollars and have never gone to the library in fact.
From all these situations, Kiyosaki learned various things and the differences by the work done by rich dad poor dad.
