So, what is the hype about a battery?

If you don’t know, the 6,800mAh battery is really like the batteries utilized in larger tablets. Hence, as of now, it is the sole phone with such an outsized battery within the segment.

Though Samsung is known for equipping massive batteries in its mid-range and budget devices, this time it truly surprised the market with a 6,000mAh battery on some Galaxy M devices.

Now with a 6,800mAh battery, it will be surely making a record and setting benchmarks.

Now, as the battery size will be huge, it is needless to say that the smartphone size will be bigger in case of thickness.

The smartphone will also be more hefty, even slightly thicker than the Samsung Galaxy M31. On the Safety Korea website, there’s also a photo of it.

This information also suggests the fact that Samsung might have found how to unravel its OLED panel supply issue.

It was heard that Samsung was going to implement an OLED panel, that was made by a third-party company,  on the M41.

As mentioned above, its launch was in suspense, owing to some display issues. The reason gives by the company was the failure of the outsourced display panels from China in the quality tests.

This would have contrasted with other Samsung phones that use OLED panels made by the corporate itself. This third party was supposed to be TCL’s China Star Optoelectronics Technology.

However, as later developments show, Samsung had apparently canceled the plan to ally with the Chinese and ditched the plan for Galaxy M41 altogether.

Furthermore, according to the database, the upcoming device’s battery has the EB-BM415ABY model number.

So, what is so special about it?

Some statements suggest that this EB-BM415ABY is being manufactured by Ningde Amperex Technology Limited which is a Chinese brand.

As Samsung’s mood was not clear about Samsung Galaxy P41, there were a lot of rumors.

It was supposed, that the company would rather launch the Galaxy M51 for the masses. But, with the news of Galaxy M41 getting certified, it could be a possibility that the company is finally back to its production.

It would be quite interesting to see if the company has added any other unique feature to the upcoming model, or the famed battery would be its only key highlight.

But now with this news about the massive battery, it seems Samsung is back in the game.

Besides, it’s the decision to choose this battery, that has raised a lot of expectations.

This selection would definitely give the Galaxy M41 an edge over its rivals; specifically, over its Chinese counterparts who have been dominating the affordable segment for quite a while now.

Yet, in spite of all rumors and sightings, there has been no official confirmation about a possible launch and specific feature as of now.

So, it still remains to be seen if the device will be launched in near time or if it, indeed, is packed with such a massive battery unit.

Not to mention that one has to wait until some more authentic details surface online. After all, not much has been tipped regarding its hardware and software as well.

So, let us wait and watch.
