However, if rumours are to believed, it looks like the company might surprise its customers, with its flagship ZenFone series.

A report from TNNToday suggested that the company might unveil the Asus ZenFone 7 smartphone, very soon.

The same report also implied that this tech giant might intend to launch multiple devices instead of just one.

This speculation proposes that we might be seeing both Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro on the global stage, quite soon.

Recently, the market was buzzing with rumours that the Asus is designing the 6Z’s successor, which is its most anticipated flagship.

Now, as the rumours suggest, this awaited smartphone might also be called the Asus Zenfone 7.

It is reported, by GizmoChina, that a device, guessed to be the rumoured ZenFone, was sighted on Geekbench in late June.

It was reported that the device runs on Android 10 OS and it also scored 973 and 3346 in the core trials administered by Geekbench.

For Asus, the 7Z is certainly a crucial device as it is going take its flagship line-up frontward after the last launch of Asus 6Z.

So, we are quite excited about its features.

Though, as rumoured, it will certainly have some similar features like Asus 6Z, we hope to see many unfamiliar ones as well.

According to the report, Asus will launch two variants for this series, likely to be named the Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro.

Just like their predecessor Zenfone 6, these two are expected to have the flip camera system, for a common front and rear camera setup.

However, unlike the dual-camera set up of 6Z, it is claimed that the new series has more than two camera sensors.

Though be aware, the precise number is not verified yet. It’s only a speculation, right now.

Though, by analyzing the latest trends, it is expected that to have a 64 MP main camera and a 13 MP secondary camera.

And, again rumours suggest that it might have a tertiary telephoto camera.

For Software, it is claimed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and has up to 16 GB RAM.

This claim is done based on the statement from US-based chipmaker Qualcomm regarding their clients for this year.

In February, this chipmaker had already announced that the Asus ZenFone duo will have the Snapdragon 865 chipset.

And this claim is also confirmed by the Asus as well.

They asserted that the duo will be powered by Qualcomm’s newly displayed latest Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile processor.

What is so special about it?

Well, this chipset is professed to be 10% quicker than the previously launched Snapdragon 865.

Besides, it’s 5G connectivity is consider confirmed as it is using Snapdragon 865 plus.

Furthermore, it is also likely that Asus opts for an in-screen fingerprint scanner, rather than a physical sensor, on it’s back.

It is believed to be furnished with a 6,000 mAh battery.

About its price, though no detail is available yet, it is claimed to cost less than the ASUS ROG Phone 3.

As far as it’s launch date is concerned, just last week, the company confirmed that Asus ROG Phone 3 will be launched on July 22.

And so, it is speculated that the Asus Zenfone 7 might be launched too soon after that.

Though we hope the company might unveil some more features of 7Z on the day of ROG’s launch.
